The engines will be revving Friday in parts of Windsor as the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association holds its fourth annual Ouellette Car Cruise.
Executive Director Debi Croucher says roughly 800 vehicles are expected to take part.
She says the cars will gather at the Riverfront Festival Plaza beginning at 1 p.m. and will make their way through a number of city streets starting at 6 p.m.
"The route will take Riverside Drive east and west," says Croucher. "Going west it will travel south on Ouellette Avenue to Tecumseh, east on Tecumseh to Lauzon Parkway, north on the parkway to Riverside Drive and then back to the plaza."
Croucher tells AM800 News a wide range of vehicles will be on display.
"We got the classics, we got the customs, we got the muscle cars, we got the hot rods so there's something for everybody and it really is an amazing experience," says Croucher.

Croucher says the event attracts many out of town visitors.
"We get quite a few visitors from southwestern Ontario and with the Woodward Dream Cruise main day being tomorrow we get quite a few folks from Michigan and surrounding coming over," says Croucher.
After the cruise, the vehicles will return to festival plaza.
Croucher says vendors will be set up along with live entertainment.
