No one was hurt but the plane sustained 50,000 in damages

Transport Canada is investigating after a plane was damaged during a rough landing at an airport in Chatham-Kent.

Around 9pm Monday, emergency crews were called to the Chatham-Kent municipal airport.

A bi-winged plane was damaged on the runway as the aircraft was landing.

The pilot and passenger were not hurt.

The plane sustained $50,000 in damages.
