Rock and roll legend Little Richard has passed away at the age of 87.
According to Rolling Stone Magazine, the musician's son says his father died at his home in Nashville Saturday morning.
Born Richard Wayne Penniman, he rose to fame in the 50's and 60's with major hits like "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Tutti Frutti."
Little Richard was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of its first group of inductees in 1986 which also included Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly.
