A Windsor ball player is expected to be back in the line-up Friday evening for the Toledo Mud Hens.
Jacob Robson made his Triple A debut Thursday night after being up called from Double A on Tuesday.
The outfielder went 1-3 at the plate and also had a stolen base in his debut.
He says he was excited to step on the field for the Mud Hens.
"I got to face a big league pitcher Homer Bailey," says Robson. "He was their starter yesterday for the Louisville team which is the Reds affiliate so that was pretty cool. Ultimately I try not to get too nervous. I just take it one step at a time and last night ended up working out well. I ended up getting my first hit."
The Mud Hens are the farm team of the Detroit Tigers.
Before being called up, Robson played in 67 games for the Erie SeaWolves and had a .286 batting average.
On Friday, Robson was named as one of the Double A Eastern League All-Stars.
