The town is spending 222,000 on several sections
Some road improvements are on the way for Concession 5 in Amherstburg.
The town granted Shepley Road Maintenance Ltd. a $222,000 tender to rehabilitate Concession 5 South from County Road 20 to South Sideroad and from County Road 18 to Alma Street. Concession 5 North — from County Road 10 to 250-m north will also be repaired.
Crack sealing and a surface treatment, or seal coating, will be used to bring the deteriorating sections back to life.
