Residents appear to be impressed with Windsor's new $30-million city hall.
The doors opened to the public Tuesday at noon and so far, the reviews from residents have been positive.
Resident Halina Szelest visited the building department and liked what she saw.
"Beautiful, gorgeous, everything new, lots of spaces, beautiful, that's all I can say."
The 280 city hall employees have moved in and are settling in at their new offices.
Resident Lanny Tong went to city hall to check it out and believes the city deserves it.
"It is beautiful, it is amazing, quite an impression and it is to be respected," he says. "It represents the city very well and it is what the city deserves."
There are three entrances to the building which bring residents to a welcome desk, customer services and city council chambers.

Resident Jackie Rivard of Windsor West Little League visited city hall to hand in her permit to get her license to hold bingos and says it is a vast improvement from the old city hall.
"Change is good," she says.
The next step is to have the old city hall next door demolished which should begin in September.
