Police have found no foul play after a board with nails in it was left in a city park.
As heard on AM800 News, a young girl stepped on a nail-filled board on Sunday, left hidden in Realtor Park just off Edgar St. in the Riverside area.
Last night, police got a call from a parent who believed they had some information.
When police arrived to the residence, they discovered that two young boys had been playing in the park and set the board with nails in a hole with the intention of catching rodents.
According to police, the boys were extremely remorseful, and informed their parents as soon as they realized someone had been injured.
Police have determined that there was no foul play or intent to cause harm to a person.
