Dylan Larkin, Anthony Mantha and Evgeny Svechnikov each had a goal and an assist as the Detroit Red Wings doubled up the Sabres in Buffalo 6-3.
Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill says cutting the Sabres 2-0 lead early on was a big momentum shifter for the team.
"A big goal by Larkin," says Blashill. "You're down 2-0, boy, if they score at any point it's hard to come back on the road. Once we scored to make it 2-1, it's a much more feasible thing."
Danny DeKeyser, Darren Helm and Andreas Athanasiou had the other goals for the Wings.
Jimmy Howard made 29 saves for the win.
