Detroit has now won backtoback games

Frans Nielsen scored the go-ahead goal with just over eight-minutes left in the third period as the Red Wings edged the Bruins 4-2 in Boston.

Gustav Nyquist iced the game with an empty-netter in the final minute and Tyler Bertuzzi and Dylan Larkin found the back of the net in the second period for Detroit.

Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard made 38 saves for the Red Wings second straight win.

Tuukka Rask stopped 23 shots in the loss.

Boston has lost two of its last three games.
