Tyler Bertuzzi scored two goals including the game-winner in overtime as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Sabres 5-4 in Buffalo Thursday night in NHL action.
Dylan Larkin also scored two goals to reach the 30-goal mark for the season.
Jimmy Howard made 35 saves for the Red Wings, who have won five of their last six games.
Bertuzzi's game-winner came on a 3-on-2 rush in the extra session. The Red Wings showed patience before finding Bertuzzi alone in the right circle, who buried a one-timer into the net.
The Red Wings are home to New Jersey on Friday.
