Boston beat the Dodgers 51 in Game 5 to claim its fourth title since 2004

The Boston Red Sox are on top of the Major League Baseball world.

The Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in Game 5 on Sunday to claim their fourth World Series title in 14 seasons.

David Price pitched into the eighth inning and Steve Pearce hit two home runs to lead the BoSox.

Pearce was named World Series MVP after hitting three home runs and driving in nine runs over the final two games.
