The Red Sox blew things open in the eighth to snap the Tigers three game win streak

The Boston Red Sox scored seven times in the eighth inning to break the game open in an 11-4 win over the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park.  

J.D. Martinez went 3-for-5 with an RBI, and Rafael Devers, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Christian Vazquez drove in two runs apiece for Boston.

Eduardo Rodriguez struck out seven over six innings of two-hit, one-run ball for the win.  

Tyson Ross allowed four runs in five frames to fall to 1-and-3 for Detroit this MLB season.  

Dustin Peterson doubled in two in a three-run ninth for the Tigers, who had won three in-a-row.
