Rays Beat Blue Jays

The Jays waste a solid start by Ryan Borucki and fall to Tampa Bay 52

Blake Snell pitched scoreless ball into the seventh inning for his MLB-leading 21st win as the Rays topped the Blue Jays 5-2 in Toronto.  

Snell struck out 11 as he moved to 21-and-5 overall.  

C.J. Cron and Brandon Lowe homered in the eighth inning for Tampa, which finished 5-and-2 on its final road trip of the regular season.  

Cron drove in two, while Joey Wendle also doubled in a run in the victory.

Sergio Romo closed it out for his 23rd save.  Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Aledmys Diaz plated runs in the bottom of the eighth for the Jays.  

Ryan Borucki suffered the loss.
