Unionized workers at Green for Life Environmental in Windsor will hear details from their first tentative agreement on Sunday.
Unifor Local 444 will hold a ratification meeting at its union hall on Turner Rd. starting at 11am.
As heard on AM800 news last week, a tentative deal was reached for the residential garbage collectors.
No details have been released but a key issue during negotiations was wages, as workers have been making between $16 and $21 an hour.
The 44 GFL employees voted 78% in favour of strike action in November.
The City of Windsor hired GFL eight years ago to collect garbage as part of a contract that continues until 2024.
