A rainfall waning has been issued for Windsor-Essex.
Environment Canada is calling for up to 25-mm of rain beginning early Tuesday morning.
Meteorologist Mitch Meredith says "there's also a chance of freezing rain during the overnight hours and then the rain will start during the morning commute. There's a possibility of heavy rain on and off, at least through the morning and possibly all afternoon as well."
It's also going to be very mild and windy, with the temperature reaching 12CĀ and a southwest wind gusting up to 70 km/h.
But the mild weather won't last. Environment Canada reports freezing temperatures will return Wednesday night.
