A local pumpkin patch is getting ready for those last minute shoppers.
Greg Rocheleau is co-owner of Pepe's Pumpkin Patch in LaSalle. He says similar to Christmas, some people wait until the last minute to pick up their pumpkins and Halloween decorations. "We are very, very busy but we just love seeing the smiles on everyone's faces knowing that the kids are going to have a good time and knowing it's a memory they're going to make for life."
Along with the pumpkins, the patch also offered a haunted house which Rocheleau says was moved indoors this year. "We didn't lose any days to the haunted house which was good and doing it inside really gave us a new avenue to increase the scare factor and just do a lot more with it being inside not outside exposed to all the elements,"
The pumpkin patch is located on Front Road near Martin Lane. It's open today Wednesday from 9am until 5pm.
