On Wednesday, elementary teachers in Windsor-Essex will take part in rotating strikes.
On Thursday, public high school teachers in Windsor-Essex are walking off the job, which will affect elementary schools as the union represents support staff at the grade school level.
All four major teacher's unions are currently taking part in job action to back contract demands.
The province maintains that compensation is a main issue while the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario says it was close to a deal during recent talks but the province's negotiators tabled new proposals.
