The fire at Westcourt Place has forced the Provincial Offences Court to relocate.
Courtrooms and other aspects of the courts have been set up temporarily at the new Windsor City Hall.
Deputy City Solicitor Dana Paladino says most of the court proceedings will take place in council chambers on the main floor.
"Two days next week we are going to require a second courtroom and it will just be down the hall in room 139," says Paladino. "So anybody who has any court appearances or early resolution meetings can attend 350 City Hall. We are running a little slower but other than that it's business as usual."
She says people who need information have several options.
"Calling 3-1-1 or provincial offences office, they can call and hey will get through, they have to stay on the line a bit but they will get through to a provincial offences employee who can also give any information that's required."
Paladino says there are several lawyers' offices in the Westcourt Place building as well.
"I have had a few lawyers contact me just as far as where they're going to be located on Monday. As far as lawyers and private practice, I can't really speak on their behalf," she says. "I know that some information has gone out as to how to contact through them."
Paladino says there will have to be a lot of rescheduling done in the coming days as a result of the situation.
The Westcourt building remains closed as there's no electricity, heat or water and elevators and fire alarms are not working.
