PROSTAFF Employment Solutions is giving 20 people in Windsor-Essex the chance to start fresh.
For their 20th anniversary, the company is choosing 20 applicants to receive free training and upgrade their skills.
Recruitment Manager Renee Plaunt says anyone who is looking, can apply for any specific thing they need to build on or learn.
This runs from their basic services — from interview coaching and resume tutorials — to more in-depth Excel classes, or even high school education.
"There are quite a few people in the city that don't have their Grade 12 completed and so paying for them to complete their GED would be another fresh start that we could offer," says Plaunt.
She says given the current competitive market for employees, there are a ton of jobs in the city but employers don't have enough employees to fill those roles. PROSTAFF is open to taking all people, from every sector, who are looking to make a change.
Plaunt says about 800 people are using their services.
The deadline to apply for the Fresh Start program is November 24, 2017.
