It will be a night to remember for 82 people with special needs in Windsor-Essex.
They are going to the Prom Friday night thanks to the Tim Tebow Foundation.
The Gathering Church in Windsor is hosting the event locally at Western High School as part of the 'Night to Shine' worldwide initiative which gives people with disabilities over the age of 14 the opportunity to attend prom and have some fun with food and dancing.
10 countries around the world are taking part in the event tonight and Windsor is only one of two locations in Canada.
Speaking on the Afternoon News, organizer Patty Leno says young and old will be there.
"We have people ranging from 14 years of age to 60 years of age who are coming because people with special needs never attend a prom or never had the opportunity to attend their prom," says Leno
Leno says guests will also get the royal treatment including hair, shoe shine for the guys, corsages and boutonnieres.
Everyone gets crowned the King or Queen of the Prom so they all get crowns or tiaras.
