The town of Kingsville is joining Tecumseh OPP and Lakeshore OPP in 'Project Safe Trade'.
The initiative was introduced to create a safe place for people to meet and make property transactions made on the internet.
A designated area in the public parking lot of the Kingsville OPP detachment will be marked as a 'Project Safe Trade' zone.
It is considered an option for both buyers and sellers of online items to reduce potential crimes such as theft, fraud or resale of stolen goods.
Tecumseh OPP has been part of the initiative since April 2016 and Lakeshore joined in November 2016.
