Legal problems are going to purple rain on the Windsor Symphony Orchestra's Raspberry beret.
The WSO was recently notified the rights to perform music of Prince at its Rock concert on February 22, 2019, have been withdrawn.
Music is subject to copyright and licencing and given Prince's death on April 21, 2016 and since he didn't have a will, there are some legal issues surrounding playing his music.
The WSO has received legal advice to remove the songs from its ling-up.
The David Bowie aspect of the concert remains in place and music of Luther Vandross, Pharrell Williams and Earth, Wind and Fire will be added.
Refunds are available.
