Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he'll have more details to share soon on a plan to help move Windsor-Essex toward reopening.
Ford says he understands the growing frustration in the region as farm outbreaks hold it back from moving to Stage 2 of the economic reopening plan.
Windsor-Essex is the only part of Ontario still in Stage 1.
Ford says he has spoken with local politicians, farmers, and his own officials about a new plan to help the region.
The provincial government has urged local farmers to get their workers tested for COVID-19 to help track and contain the spread of COVID-19.
