Police will carry out training exercises at a Chatham school over the next few days, including the use of realistic sound effects that may be heard in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Officials say the exercises will take place at St. Ursula Catholic School on Lacroix Street from May 12 to May 14.
Police are advising the public there is no cause for alarm and that the activity is strictly for training purposes.
Residents in the area can expect an increased police presence during that time.
People are asked to avoid the immediate area while the exercises are underway to ensure safety and allow officers to complete the training effectively.
