There is lots of police activity at Devonshire Mall in Windsor, but not for anything criminal.
As part of Police Week, displays and booths have been set up to raise awareness about the different tools police use to fight crime.
Police cruisers including an Amherstburg cruiser along with weapons are being showcased.
Windsor Police Constable Constable Bianca Sims says making police more accessible to the public, makes them more comfortable talking to police.
"Getting the ability to actually go inside and check out the vehicles is awesome too and the kids are really enjoying it," she says.
Sims says indirectly, police week can also be used as a recruitment tool.
"We like to be able to answer a lot of questions and tell people the hiring process, what exactly it entails, what you have to do to prepare yourself, if it is a career you are interested in," she says.

The Windsor Police SWAT team is also at the mall which Sims says is always popular.
"Our ESU unit, they are out there with the different tools that they use for their job and people are just memorized by the different things that they use, and how they use them," she says. "We have our traffic unit here with their motorcycle and things they use, radar things like that."
As part of police week, Crime Stoppers holds its oldest fundraiser, 'Bail or Jail'. 13 people are jailed and have to call family and friends to make a donation to get them out of jail.
Police week wraps up on Saturday, May 11th.
