Windsor police are asking for help to identify a suspect following a break-and-enter and multiple prowling incidents at a home in the city’s west end.
Police say between July 26 and 29, a suspect was captured on video and seen by other bystanders going onto a property in the 2300 block of University Avenue West and entering the house on multiple occasions.
In one incident, the homeowner found the suspect standing in the foyer after he allegedly forced entry through a door. The suspect left the area without incident after he was discovered.
Investigators say the incidents typically occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, with short ginger and grey hair and a mostly grey beard.
