Windsor Police Service is asking for the public’s help locating a car that hit an elderly woman and fled the scene Thursday.
Witnesses tell police the vehicle "clipped" the woman's knee while she was crossing the street at the intersection of Bruce and University Ave. W. around 5:30pm. — the vehicle was last seen heading west on University Ave.
Police tell AM800 News the woman was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
The woman was hit by a white four-door vehicle with tinted windows, according to police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
