Police are searching for a suspect following a string of thefts in Amherstburg.
Windsor Police Service Amherstburg Detachment were called to several streets between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday morning in the area of Middle Side Road, West of Concession 2 North along with Clubview Drive and Golfview Drive.
Police are looking for a white man in his early 30's with short hair, 5'8" to 5'11" tall with a medium to heavy-set build.
He was last seen wearing a tracksuit, black and white running shoes and a Puma backpack.
The Amherstburg Criminal Investigation Division is asking residents in the area with video surveillance systems to check them for any suspicious activity or any individuals caught on camera matching the description.
Investigators are also asking residents in the area to check their vehicles for missing items.
Police remind residents to lock their vehicles and never leave any valuables in plain view.
