A man who allegedly robbed a downtown Windsor bank didn't last long on the lam.
Windsor Police Service was called to the TD Bank on the corner of Pitt Street and Ouellette Avenue around 3 p.m. Saturday.
A man allegedly entered the bank and demanded cash with a weapon, then fled on foot with an undisclosed quantity of Canadian currency, according to police.
The Major Crimes Unit identified the man a short time later and arrested him without incident.
Police say no one was hurt during the robbery and charges are still pending in relation to the incident.
