A Windsor man is facing sexual assault charges in relation to multiple incidents in downtown Windsor back in June.
Windsor Police Services were called to Elliott St. E. near Elsmere Ave. on Saturday June 23 and Monday June 25 for a report of a sexual assault.
Investigators were told a man allegedly confronted a woman loading her child into her vehicle, he then pushed past the woman and kissed the child and touched her inappropriately in one incident — a woman was touched inappropriately while walking alone in a separate incident.
The man managed to elude police on both occasions, but police located a 68-year-old Windsor man believed to be responsible for both assaults on Saturday — he's charged with sexual interference and three counts of sexual assault.
Police continue to investigate as they believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers Anonymously.
