A 29-year-old from Essex is being charged in connection with a home break-in and robbery.
Joshua Erdodi has been arrested and charged after a home on Steven Court in the Viscount Estates area was broken into by a number of disguised suspects with weapons around 1am on Wednesday.
The suspects made off with some cash after confronting the residents in the home.
Erdodi's charges include robbery with a firearm and assault with a weapon.
Erdodi is in police custody and expected to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Police add they're close to arresting a second suspect connected to the break-in.
