Windsor police think there may be more witnesses to a serious hit-and-run on Ouellette earlier this month.
Police are asking anyone who may have been present moments before, during or immediately after the collision to come forward.
It happened on Saturday May 6 around 5pm on Ouellette Ave. between Giles Blvd. and Ellis St.
Authorities say a pickup truck turned southbound off of Montrose St. onto Ouellette Ave. and hit a pedestrian.
The 60-year-old victim is a Windsor man who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he remains in critical condition.
Two days later investigators located what's believe to be the truck involved and arrested and charged its driver.
John Vaillancourt, 47, of Windsor is charged with failing to stop and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
