Most municipal services are closed for Family Day Monday, but the city of Windsor has plenty of activities planned for residents to enjoy.
The city's offices and the 311 Call Centre are both closed, but 211 services will still be available for residents.
Collection for residential garbage and recycling will be delayed by one day and the city's Public Drop-off Centre on Central Ave. will be closed.
All branches of the Windsor Public Library and city run museums are also closed.
Community and customer care centres won't open with the exception of scheduled rentals.
Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre will open its doors from 10am to 4pm, while Adventure Bay Family Water Park and Cannon Cove are open 10am to 8pm.
There's lots going on at the WFCU Centre is open on Family Day with the Windsor Spitfires facing off against the Owen Sound Attack 2:05pm.
The WFCU Centre is also hosting free activities including pickleball from 9am to 12pm, swimming from 9:30am to 11:30am, and skating from 5pm to 7pm.
All other rinks will be closed with the exception of Charles Clark Square — the city will host a free supervised skate there from 8:30am to 10:30pm.
Street parking will be free all day and Transit Windsor will be running on its holiday schedule.
