Pistons Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

The Pistons beat Memphis in their final regular season home game to keep their playoff chances alive

The Detroit Pistons outscored the Memphis Grizzlies 36-to-14 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 100-93 win in Detroit.  

Andre Drummond tallied 20 points and 17 rebounds for the Pistons, who are one game ahead of the Hornets for the final NBA playoff spot in the East with one to play.

Ish Smith scored 22 off the bench as Detroit snapped a four-game skid to improve to 40-and-41.  

Delon Wright had 15 points and nine rebounds for Memphis, which fell to 32-and-49 with one game remaining.  Bruno Caboclo also scored 15 points in defeat.

Detroit can clinch an NBA playoff spot with a win in the regular-season finale against the Knicks Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
