D.J. Augustin led Orlando with 26 points.
Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic each contributed 22 points and combined for 21 rebounds for the Magic. Orlando is 4-and-4 in its last eight games.
Luke Kennard topped Detroit scorers with 16 points off the bench.
