Griffin finished with a team-high 25 points as the Pistons took the lead one minute into the third quarter and never trailed again.
Andre Drummond posted 17 points and 27 rebounds in the win.
Detroit is 4-and-0 with Griffin and will face his former team Friday when the Clippers come to Motown.
Allen Crabbe poured in 34 points for Brooklyn, which had 19 turnovers.
Jarrett Allen, DeMarre Carroll and Spencer Dinwiddie each had double-doubles in defeat.
The Pistons wrap up a six-game homestand when they host Griffin's former team, the Los Angeles Clippers tomorrow night.
