Jeremy Lamb's long jumper with three-tenths of a second left lifted the Hornets to a 108-107 win over the Detroit Pistons in Charlotte.
Kemba Walker scored 31 points and handed out nine assists for the Hornets, who outscored the Pistons 26-to-14 in the fourth quarter to pull out their third straight win.
Blake Griffin had 26 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for Detroit.
Reggie Jackson added 18 points and Andre Drummond pulled down 13 boards for the Pistons, who've fallen back to .500 at 13-and-13.
The Pistons look to put the breaks on a six-game NBA losing skid Saturday when they host the Celtics.
