The 76ers improve to 141 at home by blasting Detroit

Joel Embiid scored 24 points to lead the 76ers to a 116-102 NBA win over the Pistons in Philadelphia.  

Ben Simmons added 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block as Philly improved to 14-and-1 at home.  

The Sixers have won 10 of their last 12 games to run their record to 19-and-9 overall.   Luke Kennard had a game-high 28 points for the Pistons, who dropped their fifth straight.  

Blake Griffin sat out to rest for Detroit, which is back to just a game over .500 at 13-and-12.

Detroit wraps up its two-game road trip Wednesday with a stop in Charlotte to take on the Hornets.
