The Philadelphia 76ers are moving on from head coach Brett Brown after seven seasons.
Philadelphia has fired its head coach Monday following a sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs in Orlando.
Brown took over Philadelphia in 2013 and guided the franchise back to the playoffs each of the last three seasons.
The 76ers failed to get past the conference semifinals or first round in each of those seasons.
76ers managing partner Josh Harris released a statement saying they're going to take a deep look at the organization to assess where they are at.
According to ESPN, there could be mutual interest between Philadelphia and Tyronn Lue to be the franchise's next head coach.
