Open Streets 2018 has come to a close and the city of Windsor has declared it the biggest and most diverse yet.
Eight-kilometers of fun sprawled across parts of Sandwich St., University Ave., Wyandotte St, and Drouillard Rd.
Residents were treated to a seamless parade of activities, food and beverages.
Chris Edward says he's been out every year and it keeps getting better. "A magnificent idea, its forward thinking, which we don't hear too much in the city of Windsor, but this, is a really good positive thing for the city. Wonderful, do it again," says Edwards.
Elaine Weeks says the diversity of the crowd is something to see. "I love the fact that people of all ages, all persuasions are out here having a great time and there's so much to see, do and eat and enjoy," says Weeks.
Open Streets is wrapping it’s second day and Sandwich Town is still bustling. Area restaurants have been busy on what turned out to be a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. #cklw pic.twitter.com/UheokmpvhC
