Jrue Holiday piled up 37 points as the Pelicans outlasted the Pistons 116-108 in Detroit. Julius Randle chipped in with 28 points for New Orleans, which evened its record at 14-and-14.
Anthony Davis missed most of the first half with a hip injury, but returned in the second and posted six points, nine rebounds and five blocks in the win.
Blake Griffin led Detroit with 35 points in defeat.
Andre Drummond added 23 points and 19 boards as the Pistons lost their fourth straight game to fall to 13-and-11.
The Pistons play in Philadelphia Monday night.
