The 63yearold woman was hit by a car while walking on the sidewalk back in May
A 63-year-old Chatham woman injured when she was struck on a sidewalk by a car has now died.
The woman was hit by a vehicle exiting the Nortown Plaza on McNaughton Ave. in May — she suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Chatham-Kent police say the woman succumbed to her injuries this week.
The family has requested her name not be made public.
