The owner of a small business on Ottawa St. is shaken up following an armed robbery.
Around 11am Thursday, a suspect entered the Walkerville Optical at 1474 Ottawa St. near Gladstone looked around and then left, only to return a short time later.

While looking around, he dropped a knife so owner Mark Trudell asked him to leave and the suspect told him to stand back.
"I noticed he dropped a knife and I calmly asked him to leave, telling him it made me uncomfortable," he says.
The suspect left with six pairs of frames, some made from recycled vinyl.
Trudell estimates the value of the stolen frames at about $3,000 which he says is a big hit to a small business which he opened three years ago.
He tell AM800 news, the motive was obvious.
"I'm concerned for, as people keep reiterating, in this city the drug epidemic," he says. "To me this was fueled by someone who needed drugs."
He took a photo of the suspect and it was posted on social media. Police are investigating and verifying the photo.
