A composite drawing of a suspect reported to be impersonating a police officer has been released.
The Ontario Provincial Police Essex County Crime Unit released the sketch Friday afternoon.
As heard on AM800 news last month, a woman was driving on Naylor Side Rd. near North Talbot Road in Lakeshore around 9pm on April 23, when she was pulled over by a vehicle with red and blue flashing lights.
Police say a man approached the driver's side window wearing clothes that resembled the uniform of a police officer.
According to the OPP, the suspect asked questions relating to the driver's essential services status.
The OPP confirmed the suspect is not a police officer and are looking to identify him.
The suspect is described as white, between 30 to 40 years old, tall and fit, with short brown hair and a scruffy beard.
The suspect's vehicle has been described as a small, black and white older model, four-door vehicle similar to a Ford Taurus.
Police say the vehicle had a roof mounted emergency light bar with red and blue alternating lights.
Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
