It happened Sunday on County Rd. 42 between Elmstead Rd. and Lakeshore Rd. 103
Ontario Provincial Police have released the names of those killed in Sunday's crash in Lakeshore.
Investigators determined Belle River native Mike Kelic was driving east-bound before crossing the centre line on County Rd. 22 near Elmstead Rd. — striking a vehicle driven by a Windsor couple — the 46-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, 53-year-old Binh Doan-Thanh, was also pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 48-year-old Tran Ngoc-Thi, later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
Close to 30 people held a vigil for the two of the three victims in fatal crash Monday night, they gathered for prayer and laid flowers at the scene of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
