Essex County OPP were busy over the Canada Day weekend.
The annual traffic blitz saw more than 200 charges laid for speeding, stunt driving, seat belts and other offences.
On a positive note, police say no alcohol related charges were handed out, but two drivers were issued warnings and licence suspensions.
Officers were also on waterways and trails where four charges were laid under the Off Road Vehicles Act and one marine related safety equipment violation.
The OPP is reminding residents that driving is a privilege and to respect the rules of the road and water.
