That's the message behind the OPP's Distracted Driving campaign beginning March 11 and running until March 17.
Tougher penalties went into effect January 1, 2019 which sees fines up to $1,000, three demerit points and a three-day licence suspension.
In 2018, there were 55 deaths and more than 9,115 collisions linked to an inattentive driver.
Last year, the OPP laid 13,529 distracted driving charges.
