The OPP have laid more than 6,700 impaired driving charges
The OPP have kicked off another Festive RIDE Campaign, the first since the legalization of cannabis.
It is reminding drivers that officers are ready to deal with drug-impaired drivers along with those impaired by alcohol.
To date in 2018, 39 people have died on OPP patrolled roads where alcohol or drugs were contributing factors.
From January 1 to mid-October, the OPP have laid more than 6,700 impaired driving charges across the province--283 were for impaired by drug.
