The woman was reported missing on the American side
Essex OPP has identified the body of a woman that washed up on a private beach in Colchester.
The call came in to OPP on June 26th and in conjunction with the Gibraltar, Michigan Police Department, OPP say the deceased is 43-year-old Cresta Pyle of Ohio.
She had been reported missing from the U.S. side of the water on June 19th.
OPP are no longer involved in the matter.
