OPP are laying charges in two separate speeding incidents over the weekend.
On Sunday, around 7:45pm, officers report a vehicle was clocked going more than 130km/h in an 80km/h zone on Hwy. 40 near Fairview Line near Chatham.
A 32-year-old man from Kent Bridge is facing a stunt driving charge and is due in court on September 6.
The following morning, at about 3:30am on August 14, OPP report a vehicle registered a speed of more than 160km/h on Hwy. 401 near Dillon Rd. The highway has a posted speed limit of 100km/h.
As a result, a 23-year-old man from Windsor is facing a stunt driving charge in addition to a charge of driving without insurance.
He's set for a September 23 court appearance.
OPP are reminding drivers of the stunt driving penalties, including an immediate 7-day licence suspension and vehicle impoundment along with fines of up to $10,000.
A conviction could also lead to 6 months in jail and up to a 2-year licence suspension.
